Get on the 4s with both your shoulders wide apart, wrists under your shoulders and fingers spread apart. Your knees should come under the hips. Bringing your chest a bit forward, move up towards the ceiling pressing your shoulder blades down towards the waist. Now tip your pelvis upwards and back so as to make your sitting bones reach up
4. Angry cat
Simply reverse the cow pose for coming to this pose. From all the 4s, pull your navel inwards and up to round your spine arching away from the ground. Now reach your hips back towards the ankles for increasing the space between your vertebra.
Gentle twisting would be beneficial but with any of the poses, in case the twist causes some pain, you need to immediately come out from it. Just lie on the back and draw your knees towards the chest wrapping your arms around the legs, hugging yourself. Rock side-to-side or back & forth.
Now, taking your arms out in a T, just scoot the hips towards the right and move the bent knees upwards and over towards the left elbow taking the gaze towards the right. Now hold on and breathe while you are in the twist. Then bring the knees to the centre gently, scooting your hips towards the left and taking the bent knees up & over towards the right, gazing to a left, for switching to another side.
5. Bridge pose
Lie in the supine position on the ground, bending the knees and setting the feet on the ground. Exhale & press insides of the feet and the arms in the floor. Now pushing your tailbone upwards, firm the buttocks and lift them up off the ground till your thighs are parallel to the ground. Keep the knees over the heels directly and lift the upper part of the hips towards the belly button.
6. Downward facing dog
Begin on all the 4s, with the knees below the hips directly and hands in front of the shoulders slightly. Now spreading your palms turn the toes under. Exhale and then push the knees away from the ground. Lengthen the tailbone away from the back of the pelvis and slightly press it towards the upper part of the hips. Now, lift the sitting bones towards the ceiling, drawing the inner legs upwards into groin are from the ankles.
7. Pelvic tilt
Lie on the back with knees bent and feet on the ground. Inhale and then make your back flat on the floor as you exhale slowly. Inhale gently as you start relaxing into the ground.
